Susanne Brodnik
Susanne Brodnik, founder and director of My Place in Cape Town, is an Austrian–South African designer with a diverse background in graphic design, art direction, textile design, and property. Her approach focuses on creating multi-layered sensory experiences, seamlessly blending European elegance with African design.
Through intuitive exploration of materials, color, and form, Brodnik curates spaces that combine contemporary and vintage elements. She emphasizes the importance of honoring history and architecture while pushing creative boundaries. The result is a thoughtful fusion of past and present, art and instinct, in every carefully crafted space.
